Description:

Day 1: Wayanad
Spend a leisurely morning at Wayanad, soak in the virgin landscapes, the velvety peaks and dense forests. Go boating in the Pookot lake in the afternoon.

Day 2: Wayanad
Head to Edakkal caves with packed lunch. Edakkal caves are prehistoric caves accessible by a soft trek. After lunch, visit the Soochippara waterfalls- a 3 tiered waterfall. Overnight at Wayanad.

Day 3: Calicut
After breakfast, drive to Calicut. Visit Beypore (10 kms)- the land of ‘Urus’ (sea going wooden vessels) and Kappad Beach (16 kms), the place where Vasco Da Gama landed in 1498. Overnight at Calicut.

Day 4: Calicut
A motor boat trip through the backwaters of Malabar in the morning. By afternoon, get ready for onward journey.
