Description:

Day 1:
Arrive Guwahati airport and transfer to Hotel Prag Continental / Hotel Landmark or Hotel Prag Continental. Visit Kamakhya Temple (closed from 1pm to 3.pm and again closes at 5.30pm or after sunset). Evening river cruise on Brahmaputra . Overnight In Hotel.

Day 2:
After breakfast excursion to Sualkuchi & Hajo. Overnight in Guwahati.

Sualkuchi is one of the world?s largest weaving villages. The entire population here is engaged in weaving exquisite silk fabrics. It is renowned for the production of Muga - the golden silk of Assam, not produced anywhere else in the world.

Hajo is a sacred place for Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists. The town also boasts of the Hayagriba Madhava Temple, accessible via a long stone stairway. Hajo village is renowned for their bell metal work.

Day 3:
After breakfast drive to Shillong (110 kms/ 3 ? hrs drive approx). Check-in Tripura Castle / Hotel Polo Towers / Hotel Centre Point. Afternoon visit Shillong Peak , Elephant Falls , Lady Hyderi Park . Overnight in Shillong.

Day 4:
After breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms/ 2 hrs drive approx ? one way). Cherrapunjee (1300 m) and its surroundings areas are blessed with many breathtaking views of nature in her pristine beauty with cool springs, thick green jungle foliage, gurgling mountain streams, milky white waterfalls leaping into deep gorges in a thunderous applause to the wettest place on earth. However, most waterfalls are dry in winter. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 5:
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga (325 kms/ 7 hrs drive). Check-in Hotel Emerald / Bon Habi / Jupuri Ghar. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 6:
After breakfast Jeep Safari. Return for lunch. After lunch Jeep Safari. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 7:
After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport (250 kms/ 5 ? hrs drive approx) for your return journey.
