Goa Cuisine
Who can resist the charm of feni while relaxing over a campfire on a serene beach? This cashew liquor no wonder is on its roll to conquer the world but Goan cuisine is even more than that. It’s hot, it’s spicy and it’s pungent. Due its strategic location, very obviously it’s the seafood and coconut that dominate over the Goan culinary flavour. Rice along with numerous fish preparations cooked in rich spices make the ideal lunch or dinner of a typical Goan. Meat is also hugely consumed in Goa and some major meaty delicacies are Pork Vindaloo, Sorpotel, Chicken Xacuti and Beef rolls.
