As the name suggests, Rajasthan is the true abode of Rajput royalty. Soaked in the heritage of bygone history, Rajasthan is rich with wonderful treasure of regal and imperial charm. Rajasthan Climate
Rajasthan flaunts an extreme climate where in the summer the temperature may rise till 45ºC while may even fall below freezing point in winters. In summers, Rajasthan is extremely hot and humid but the deserts get extremely cold at nights. The state doesn’t experience much of monsoon and scarce in water all round the year. Winter is the most celebrated time in Rajasthan and offers the best time to visit the state.
Getting There
By Air: The capital city Jaipur is well connected with the rest of the country with regular flights to Jodhpur, Udaipur, Aurangabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Goa, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Mumbai. It also serves occasionally as international airport with sporadic services to London, Dublin, Singapore and Dubai.
By Rail: Jaipur is very well connected by rail tracks both inside and outside the state. Apart from national trains, Jaipur serves as the hub of many luxury tourist trains.
By Road: Jaipur is well connected with the rest of the country by excellent road tracks. Distances from Jaipur to some of the major cities are Delhi - 265 km, Ahmedabad - 625 km, Chandigarh - 510 km, Mumbai - 1176 km, Calcutta - 1,472 km and Agra - 246 km
